UDL Students Win Big

UDL finished the season in style on Friday, December 5. Twenty teams competed at the last tournament of the year, with the top two pairs facing off in a special final round following the conclusion of the regular format. In front of a crowd of one hundred-twenty people, the finalists debated the topic of restorative justice in New Haven schools. The winning team of Zariah Altman (Sound) and Tatiana Gay (West Haven) split the $1000 top prize, while the second-place squad of Denzel Walker (Sound) and Alejandra Corona (Sound) earned $500.
